VPNE Parking Solutions and the Aloha Solutions Company serve the most prestigious healthcare, hospitality and real estate owners and managers. We exist to be true partners for our clients - developing and delivering innovative solutions for their guests, people and assets. As Owner and President, I am proud of the growth our team has achieved over the past 30 years, developing our family-owned business from a local valet service provider to a full-service parking, transportation and workforce management company with locations across New England and Florida.
Tom MacKinnon
Partner, Chief Strategy Officer
Tom came to VPNE in 2003 after a career in the financial market. Through his experience in both operations management and client relations across various sectors of our business, Tom has grown into our Chief Strategy Officer and Partner. He is tasked with overseeing our Hospitality divisions in the Boston and Florida markets, along with our Transportation sector. Additionally, along with our President, Tom leads the business development division at VPNE.
Tom received his BA from Boston College in 1999 and MBA in Finance from Suffolk University in 2007, and he enjoys coaching youth sports in his free time. Tom and his wife, Danielle, live in Duxbury, MA with their 4 children, where they have recently begun fostering newborn babies and infants.
Dennis Newman
Partner, Chief FINANCIAL OFFICER
Dennis joined VPNE Parking Solutions in 2016 as its Chief Financial Officer. He has over 20 years of experience in financial leadership roles and is responsible for supporting the strategic, IT and financial needs of the organization.
His previous work experience spans diverse company backgrounds, which include: two start-up ventures, the private equity arm of a top tier financial institution, an “A-list” global management consulting company, an industry-leading public media company and a middle market family-owned distribution / manufacturing company.
He has an MBA in Finance/MIS from The American University in Washington, D.C. and resides in the town of Cohasset, MA with his wife and two daughters.
Nick Litton
Partner, Chief operating officer
Nick joined VPNE Parking Solutions in 2011 as its Chief Operating Officer. He has over 30 years of experience in the industry, including two decades plus, prior to joining VPNE, serving in senior roles with national parking companies.
Over the course of his career, Nick has overseen a variety of commercial, healthcare-related, hotel, municipal, and off-and-on airport parking operations. As Chief Operating Officer at VPNE, Nick is directly responsible for the day-to-day operations of the commercial parking and marketing divisions, as well as VPNE’s strategic consulting service. Nick leads VPNE’s efforts to promote and encourage innovative technologies that produce greater profitability and efficiency for our clients and customers.
Nick received a BA in English from Bridgewater State College and lives in Falmouth, MA with his family.
Domingos Teixeira
Senior Director, VPNE & Aloha Solutions Co.
Domingos has over 20 years of leadership experience in the commercial parking facilities industry, including positions at many of world’s leading healthcare institutions across New England.
He joined VPNE Parking Solutions in 2005 as a Healthcare Operations Manager. During the course of his career with VPNE, he has overseen a variety of healthcare parking operations and support services programs, holding various leadership roles across the organization.
He is currently the Senior Director within the organization, and is intimately involved with the day-to-day operations of VPNE’S healthcare parking division, including overseeing operations for Aloha Solutions Co. Domingos lives in Boston, Massachusetts with his family.
Jane Reardon
Director, Aloha Solutions Co.
Jane Reardon, RN, MSN, CPPS has been a Registered Nurse (RN) for the past 15 years. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, she began her career on a Medical Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). In 2010, Jane shifted her clinical interests to Emergency Medicine where she has been practicing in either a full or part time capacity, ever since. In 2016, Jane went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Nursing with a concentration in Leadership from Framingham State University.
During this process, she began to dive into the work of clinical informatics, and was instrumental in helping MGH with the implementation of Epic, an Electronic Health Record (EHR) for the Partners Healthcare system. Jane also earned the designation of a Certified Professional of Patient Safety from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) while working client-side with Athenahealth.
Jane was later connected to SONSIEL, The Society of Nurse Scientists, Entrepreneurs and Leaders, and it was through their network that she was introduced to the unique opportunity at Aloha Solutions Co. Jane now serves as the Director of Aloha Solutions Co., where she oversees 150+ FTE’s and 12 hospital departments for various support services groups across Boston Children’s Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Tufts Medical Center, among others.
Robert Ryan
DIRECTOR, PATIENT OBSERVER PROGRAMS & PHYSICAL SECURITY DESIGN
Bob joins VPNE after more than 20 years as Senior Director of Security & Transportation at Boston Children’s Hospital, the nation’s #1 Pediatric Hospital. Bob is widely considered a thought-leader in healthcare facility security, transportation, and operational logistics, having served as Chairman of the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) Boston Chapter; Chairman of the Longwood Medical Area Security Committee; and on the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) Healthcare Security Council. He is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA).
Bob is a veteran of the United States Coast Guard, a graduate of Northern University and the University of Maine.
Kristen Halvorsen
Aloha Nurse Director
Kristen joined the Aloha team in 2021 to lead our expanding Nursing operation. Through her experience at every level of clinical nursing, at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago and St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston, Kristen has developed a passion for supporting nursing staff driven by respect, love, and appreciation – that ultimately creates a ripple effect impacting patient care.
Kristen is a Registered Nurse (RN), and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) as well as a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Health Systems Management; she is also a Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) through the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL). Originally from the Chicagoland area, Kristen moved to Boston in 2019 with her wife, Kristina, and their dog, Amalfi. She enjoys running, being outside, and exploring the beauty of the East Coast, especially New England.
Stefanie Russo
Chief People Officer
Stefanie joined (VPNE) in 2022 as Chief People Officer after several years in the hospitality industry. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to helping people maximize their potential, in the organization and beyond, leading and supporting Human Resources in both the hotel and fast casual sectors. As CPO, Stefanie is responsible for aligning the business goals of (VPNE) with people strategy to support the day to day operations within the organization. Her passion for colleagues, development and success brings a strong foundation for future growth in all areas of HR opportunity.
Stefanie has a degree in business administration with a concentration in Human Resources. She enjoys teaching dance including tap, jazz, and ballet to students of all ages. Stefanie lives in Quincy with her partner Jason and their two dogs.
